Remarks [collector note: W. Hungary, Burgenland: BP; Yugoslavia (mainly Dalmatia & Hercegovia): BRNU (Bryo., Ph.), PRC]. Example of Name Published: Micromeria parviflora f. monantha Latzel ex Šilić, Monogr. Satureja 262. 1979. According to Jiří Danihelka (BRNU), the name "A. Latzel-Ragusa" is a misinterpretation of a label. Ragusa is the Italian name for the city of Dubrovnik, now in Croatia. Albert Latzel was a military doctor with the Austrian marine in Boka Kotorska, and he frequently collected around Dubrovnik/Ragusa.
