| Remarks | Example of Name Published: Sida lomana Bruns (1929). "Teacher of arts in Hamburg from 1903, one of the founders of the Botanical Verein in Hamburg in 1891. Teaching at the German school in Teheran, Iran from 1908 to 1910. Mostly collector of phanerogams. Worked on the Peruvian collections of Buchtien and Günther (BRUNS 1931). WAGENITZ (1960: 359) points out, that the original collection of F. Bruns from northern Iran ("Persia") is located in the Herbarium Hamburgense. Orbituary by ERICHSEN (1933).
