For additional info on the seed lists, see: Guide to the plant species descriptions published in seed lists from Botanic Gardens for the period 1800 - 1900 [http://seedlists.naturalis.nl/] The dates given in these publications are old style (Julian calender); in the 19th century the difference was 12 days; for example 25 Dec 1835 o.s. is 6 Jan 1836 n.s. Complete sets of this series are very rare (BM, NY); the publication is important because of many new taxa described in it during the years 1835-1868 [vide TL-2 (1: no. 1785)]
