RemarksAnnotated by B. T. Styles as P. pinceana Gord. Label ("n. sp.") in S. Watson's handwriting (acc. to T. Kirchgessner); this may be an Isotype. Engelman did not specify a collection number but indicated the species was discovered by Palmer in 1880, in mtns S. of Saltillo. Label also notes "cones, bark, & wood in case," but cones were not found in 1986 or currently (1994). A duplicate sheet with less label data in A, record # 46875.
