Remarks= Fuertesimalva jacens (S. Watson) Fryx. (Sida 17: 73. 1996). Within the protologue, Watson cited 2 collections (E. Palmer 430; C. C. Parry & E. Palmer 90). Krapovickas annotated and also published E. Palmer 430 as the type (= lectotypification) and C. C. Parry & E. Palmer 90 as the paratype of this taxon
