Remarks

Based on H. A. Pederson the Holotype was destroyed at PNH. In the original introduction (p.311) to the paper in which Dendrochilum hutchisonianum Ames was originally described, Ames stated that: " the types of the new species herein described are in the Herbarium of the Bureau of Science at Manila. Usually cotypes are to be found in my Herbarium"
