| Determination | Physarum leucopus Link |
| Determined by | E. A. Burt |
| Determination Remarks | [filed under] [label name] [current name] |
| Annotation Text | spores 9 - 1- mu in diam., minutely spinulose under 1/2 in. obj; lime knots 5 - 20 mu in diam, and situated as in P. globuliferum; stalk white, longitudinally furrowed, short and thick, contains plenty of lime in its interior, I find, upon testing with HCl. Referred provisionally to P. leucopus on account of its larger spores and stout, furrowed stalk to figures of that species in Lister and Macbride; but the capillitium is more like thata of P. globuliferum. |
