| Remarks | [field label:] road from Chapman to F. C. road Sept 6/92 [T. C. Porter annotation:] This is exactly what Gattinger sends from Tennessee as Solidago rupestris Raf. (fide Gray). It has also been found at several points along the Susquehanna in Pennsylvania. Dr. Gray surmises that it may "an extreme glabrous form of S. canadensis L.", but it appears to me a good species.
