Determination Remarks | "Cited Barneby 1977" noted on label. This J. E. Johnson specimen is one of two referenced in the protologue. The other is the Edw. Palmer specimen, also mounted on this sheet (barcode 53598). Barneby (Mem. New York Bot. Gard. 27: 40. 1977.) quotes the citation of the two collections from the protologue and adds "Holotypus, GH!" without selecting a particular collection. |
