| Remarks | Stony slope with vertial stripes of unconsolidated scree with very few plants, semiconsolidated scree with low but rich cover of broad-leafed herbs, and alpine turf, sometimes with hummocks in weeter areas with Pedicularis rhynanthoides. Perennial forming flat mat from massive softly woody rootstock; standard violet with white center with lilac veins; wings white suffused violet at base; keel violet with pale base.
