RemarksHeavily grazed broad flood plain & adjacent dry slopes. Plain with sparse herbs (many chenopods) & grasses; some small sand dune with denser vegetation margins more silty & largely planted with Populus or with Hippophaea thickets, soils often incrusted salt. Dry slopes dominated with tussocks of Achnatherum. Perennial herb/ shrublet with woody base, to 15 cm; leaves gray-green; ray florets lilac-blue, disc florets yellow. Growing on dry slopes
