RemarksHeavily grazed valley; bottom with very short meadow, much disturbed, most plants collected from slopes with steep rock outcrops and low bushland. Perennial herb from taproot, to 15 cm, shoots solitary or in small groups; leaves white below; stem purple; involucral bracts dark purple; corolla pale purple; anther tube purplish black; stigma purple. Growing on rock outcrops mostly in crevices, in sun and shade
