HabitatUpland Cross Timbers woodland on W, N and S-facing slopes above confluence of Wild Hog Creek and Sand Creek, with Carya texana, Quercus marilandica and Quercus stellata and low cliffs and large blocks of non-calcareous Pennsylvanian sandstone, and brushy riparian woodland along creek with Fraxius sp., Platanus occidentalis, Quercus macrocarpa, Quercus muhlengerbii and Quercus shumardii, and Aesculus glabra, Amorpha fruticosa, Cercis canadensis and Comus amomum in the understory and along rocky bank.
