RemarksLower slopes with dense Kobresia dominated turf; steeper upper slopes with open bushland of Salix, Spirea, etc., often with mosses in shade below them. Perennial herb to 30 cm; upper stem suffused bluish; sepals blue-green with pale margin; petals white with dark blotch on reverse; anthers dark blue. Growing on steeper slopes among bushes, often in Kobresia tussocks
