RemarksNarrow limestone gorge, cliff bases with rubble and earth covered with bushland and remnants of Juniperus trees, now all bushlike in habit and only stumps of large trees, Salix the commonest shurb; bottom of gorge with river and narrow flat alluvial area with scattered bushes. Tufted perennial herb; leaves whitish below; inflorescences to 40 cm; stems often reddish; involucral bracts purple black; corolla pink; anther tube gray blue with whitish tip. Growing on shurbby slopes
