RemarksShrub up to 8 ft on margins of the Picea forest. Flowers trusses pendent. Calyx green, Corolla scarlet, waxy and fleshy, with five shining dark glandular spots one at base of each segments. Filaments red at base, white above; anthers dark brown. Ovary dull green, covered with reddish glands. Style light green with scattered glands, stigma dark green
