Annotation Text | TLC: usnic acid, fatty acids (plate 43-A); note red interior, CK-, papillae w isidiate soredia; I checked herbarium specimens of both U. mutabilis and U. strigosa. Later has more side branches and no tendency for papillae to become sorediate. |
