RemarksMounted on sheet with several other collections, including another by Brandegee, which, like this specimen is labeled "Sangre de Christo Pass," as in the protologue. This and the other Brandegee collections annotated as "Possible Isotypes" by M. W. Bierner, 1991, but citation of type in protologue is ambiguous. Annonymous annotation on this specimen states "Type in Porter Herb. carries # 722 & date Aug 1873"
