Item RemarksMottram inadvertently designated "Pringle 8531" as the "lectotype" (an error for neotype). He mentioned that the (original) type "Pringle 3679, 17 Oct. 1890; Gray Herb. (lost)." ["Pringle 3679" was made in 1891; vide protologue (an error?).] "Pringle 3679, 17 Oct. 1890" exists at GH (not lost); therefore, Mottram's inadvertent designation of a NT. is superfluous. (type verified by K. N. Gandhi, IPNI) See specimen barcode: 245566
