Remarksrecently in bloom ["Also find ap.[parently] recently out of bloom -- what appears to be Muhlenbergia glomerata (?) do I not see the same in Ministerial Swamp Nov. 25--58? with now purplish spikes -- I tried at first to make it an Alopecurus -- but in vain. It grows near the edge in the bog." unpublished passage of Journal Sept. 17, 1858]
