Remarks[Verbatim Collector: Catherine Vial-Debas] [research needed]; Hilltribe : BLACK LAHU; Used for : Aromate culinaire.; Part used : Fruit mur, ecorce des tiges enroule et mise a secher.; Preparation : Substitut du poivre utilise pour cuire les viandes, ou gibier.; Remarks : Cette espece a ete recoltee a deux stations differentes mais a chaque fois dans un milieu ouvert avec presence d'un ruisseau. Les villageois la cultive par endroit sur leur lieu d'habitation temporaire en foret. Seule l'altitude serait un facteur limitant a son bon developpement.; Name of informant : PALA, JAMO,JAKA.; Position : Tous les villageois habitues a se rendre en foret connaissent cette plante. La population apprecie beaucoup le gout apporte aux aliments par cet aromate. Au retour de foret les hommes se munissent de quelques lanieres d'ecorce et des fruits murs pour la consommation familiale.
