HabitatThickets along stream below 1100 m and primary forest from 1400-1600. Dominant forest trees: Sinowilsonia, Zelkova, Juglans, Quercus, Acer (3 or 4 spp.), Dipteronia, Prunnus, Diospyros on steep slopes above boulder-strewn stream bed. Scattered in forest.
