RemarksPlanted in 1977, grown from a seedling which was collected from Vár-erdö, a woodland of Tilia tomentosa - T. platyphyllos - Fraxinus excelsior - F. ornus (Tilio tometosae - Fraxinetum orni), with Cornus mas, Corylus avellana, Ruscus aculeatus, Staphylea pinnata and Asperula taurina as characteristic species; situated on limestone (triassic and Jurassic) on the north slope of the hill of Szársomlyó, above the village of Nagyharsány, Vilányi mountains, Baranya county, Hungary (ca 45°52'N 18°25'E, altitude ca. 250 m]
