Remarksabaxial surface pale whitish-green, finely pubescent, but not glaucous. Young leaves pinkish with the margins starting to turn green first, finely pubescent. Stipules large erect and triangular-deltate, finely shiny golden pubescent towards the base and up the middle of the abaxial surface, leaving large white upward curved scars surrounded by ferruginous hairs when they fall. Inflorescences pistillate, ranging from immature to mature, light green to slightly golden due to a fine ferruginous pubescence towards the base. Fruits light green with a large patch of very pale green granular exudate on each carpel lobe and ± completely covering it, with the sutures light green at first and maturing reddish-brown. Seeds not quite mature, but certainly covered in a fleshy aril.
