Remarks515 (already sent in) a variety collected near Masinga. 250 ft. The large one Dec. 16, the small one Nov. 20. This species varies greatly in the form and pubescence of the leaves, size of flowers and habit. It may be a low, compact shrub or sub-scandent to 6 or 7 ft. The rough stem and curved stiff hairs on the veins seem to be consistent characters; generally there are little tufts of fine hairs in the axils of the veins.
