Locality Remarks | [comment on Lichen Portal: "If D.B. Griffin travelled by boat, his collecting in Mallets Bay VT and Catfish Point, NY on the same day would be pretty easily done. If traveling by land in 1910 it would be an unlikely journey. It is possible that Griffin misapplied the name "Catfish Point", which I suspect, but think he should be taken at his word. He has several specimens from this day from Mallets Bay, and seemingly a sole specimen from Catfish Point." Alan Peterson, 2023-03-21] |
