Remarks= Ptychosperma macarthurii (H. Wendland ex Veitch) Nicholson (det. F. B. Essig, 1975). 3-5 m. high; stem green, leaf scars conspicuous; leaves arched, 8-10; panicles 1 or 2 below leaves; ripe fruit red, ca. 1.1 cm. long x 1 cm. diameter.
