RemarksThis sheet has four drawings labelled "Acostaea costaricensis Schltr. type" drawn from two different plants. Schlechter cited two collections in his protologue: "Umgebung von San Ramon - G. Acosta, im Jahre 1921; San Jeronimo - C. Wecklé no. 17, im Mai 1921". There is no way tell what plant each drawing represents. The drawings may have been done under the supervision of R. Schlechter. The sheet also has a specimen collected by P. C. Standley (No. 38304) that was collected in 1924.
