RemarksSee Eastwood in Leafl. W. Bot. 1(8): 75. 1933.: "In C. F. Baker's distribution, No. 3997, it was sent out with this name, but the publication was prevented by the destruction of the specimens in the disaster of 1906 when the Herbarium of the California Academy of Sciences was destroyed." The type collection of Arctostaphylos cushingiana Eastwood is Eastwood 11075A, collected on the south side of Mt. Tamalpais, Marin Co., California, March 12, 1922.
