RemarksForming straggly bushes up to 4' on broader rock ledges. Young leaves with fugacious cinnamon tomentum at base of midrib also on petioles and young wood. Pedicels with tomentum of white appressed hairs and on minute calyx lobes. Corolla reddish in bud, white with flush of pink at maturity and slightly spotted red posteriorly. Filaments white; anthers brown. Ovary white, tomentose; style white; stigma white
